Alright, y'all. I need to talk about something that is still unfolding right here in DC. And honestly, it's got me asking the same question over and over again. How? Now if you have ever seen or driven across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge, then you already know that bridge is high. It curves. And those arches, not something you just climb for fun. But somehow a man named Guido has made his way all the way up to the top of those arches. And as of right now, he is still up there. And let me tell you, this is not a quick stunt. Guido didn't just climb up and come back down. He is still up there. He's been giving interviews to nudge crews and people on the ground. And get this, he even has a tent, a whole setup. He says he's prepared to stay up there. Now at this point, it's clearly a protest, but even knowing that, I keep coming back to the same question. How did he even get up there in the first place? Because that's not easy access. That's not somewhere you just walk up to and climb. So what does that say about security? What does that say about how determined someone has to be to make a statement like this? And let's be real for a second. People don't go to these extremes unless they feel like nobody is listening. To climb that high, set up a tent, and stay there, that's someone who is serious about being seen and heard. At the same time, it's dangerous. One wrong move, one slip, and this could turn into something completely different. So now you've got a whole city watching. People talking, news cameras rolling, and Goido is still up there holding his position. At the end of the day, I just hope this situation ends safely. Whatever message he's trying to get across, it shouldn't cost him his life. But this right here, this has definitely caught everybody's attention. And it's raising a lot of questions that need answers. And I'm still stuck on the same one. How did he even get up there? Y'all let me know what you think. This is your host, and you're listening to Ask Velvet Podcast, where we talk about what's really going on right here, right now.
