From the porch to the couch or wherever I be. Real talk my way, real life. Yeah, that's me. Keeping it real, no scripts, no filters. Just say how I feel, no gimmicks, no fillers. Now that you've got the vibe, welcome to the show. Sit back, relax, let the stories flow. Laugh a little, think a little, stay for a while. Real conversations, Velvet style. Good morning, good morning, good morning everyone, and welcome back to Ask Velvet. I am your host Velvet. This morning, I stepped outside onto my front porch just to take in the morning air and clear my head. My thoughts have been racing since last night. Some heavy, some just thoughts we all have when we're going through tough moments. And I realized I needed to change the mood of my spirit because my spirit hasn't been in the best place lately. So here I am sitting on my front porch, watching traffic, seeing people go about their day, and thinking about my next steps in life. But even in the midst of these thoughts, I am deeply grateful, grateful to be awake, grateful to be able to sit here to see, to breathe, to experience another morning. I know that waking up is a gift, and I don't take it for granted. As I sit here, I hear the birds chirping, the sounds of the neighborhood waking up. And I just let my mind rest for a moment. Life isn't always easy. We all have moments when our spirits feel heavy or when the weight of our thoughts is hard to carry. But there's something about simply being present, taking in the sunrise, and remembering that God is in control of every moment. It's grounding, it's comforting. Even in the midst of uncertainty, there is grace. Even in the heaviness there is light. And sitting here, I can feel it. I can feel the reminder that no matter what today brings, it is a new opportunity to breathe, to live, and to be thankful. Before I go, I want to leave you with a prayer, a moment to start your day with positivity and hope. Dear God, thank you for this new day. Thank you for the breath in our lungs, the gift of our sight, and the ability to experience the world around us. Please guide us through this day with clarity, patience, and peace. Help us to release the worries that weigh us down and to embrace the grace and love that surround us. May our hearts be light, our spirits lifted, and may we carry hope and joy into every moment. Amen. So today, take a moment for yourself, step outside, breathe, and let your spirit feel alive. No matter what yesterday looked like, today is a new day and it's full of possibilities. Thank you for joining me on this morning reflection. I hope your day is as bright as the sunrise I see right now.
