From the porch to the couch or wherever you be, real talk my way, real life, yeah that's me. No scripts, no filters, just truth how I see. But let me say this first so it's clear for me. Everything I'm about to talk about, this is my opinion. This is based on videos I personally saw posted on social media about what went down in Houston, Texas during spring break. I was not there in person, so I'm speaking strictly from what I saw and how it came across to me. Now that we got that understood, let's talk about it. So from what I saw coming out of Houston during spring break, it wasn't just wild. It was honestly disturbing. Now listen, I understand what spring break is about. People want to have fun, let loose, do things they normally wouldn't do. Every generation has had their moments. But what I saw online, that felt different. I'm talking about videos showing young men and women out in public in cars, out in the open, having sex with no privacy, no discretion, and not caring who was watching or recording. And for me, that's where the issue really comes in. The lack of care and self respect. Because back in the day, yeah, we had our fun too. But we moved in silence. We made sure our business stayed our business. There was a level of respect for ourselves and for our families. Now everything is put online like it's something to be proud of. And let's talk about something serious. Because this part isn't just about opinion. This is about real life consequences. For the young men out here recording and posting their one night stands, especially if those women did not know they were being recorded or posted, you are putting yourself in serious trouble. That's not just content. That can lead to criminal charges. You could be facing legal consequences for recording someone without their consent and then taking it a step further by posting it online. That's the kind of situation that can follow you for the rest of your life. So all that posting, trying to get likes, trying to show off, that could come right back on you in the worst way. And ladies, the same goes for protecting yourselves. You don't know these men, you don't know their history, and decisions made in a moment can have long term consequences, health wise and life wise. Now on top of all that, I also saw a lot of people saying that some of these clubs were allegedly scamming spring breakers out of their money. We're talking thousands of dollars, four thousand, ten thousand, even twenty thousand gone. And if that's true, then some of these businesses could be looking at lawsuits because people are already online saying they were taken advantage of. And still, people went anyway. So now you've got a situation where the city may not have been prepared, businesses allegedly taking advantage, and people making risky decisions all at the same time. And it just turned into chaos. But at the end of the day, what stuck with me the most from those videos was the lack of self-respect from both men and women. Because when everything becomes public, when you stop caring who sees you, when you don't think about your future, your name, your family, that's not just fun anymore. That's risk. And some of those moments are permanent now. Because once it's on the internet, it doesn't go away. Look, live your life, have fun, enjoy yourself. But don't lose yourself in the process. There's a difference between having a good time and putting yourself in situations that can cost you your reputation, your health, and even your freedom. And from what I saw, that line got crossed way too many times. From the porch to the couch, yeah you heard it all out. Real talk, no filter, yeah I said it out loud. My opinion, my view, just calling what I see. Till the next episode. Stay real, stay smart, and be you.
