Good Tuesday morning. I'm back out here on my front porch again sitting still for a moment in a world that's already moving. I've got my cup of tea in my hand, a little warmth, a little enthusiasm, and a whole lot of gratitude. Traffic is rolling past me like it always does. Cars going to work, people starting their day, life already in motion. And the birds, the birds are up before all of us, chirping like they've already decided today is going to be a good day. The air smells fresh, not yesterday fresh, but brand new day fresh. And sometimes that's all we really need. A reminder that every morning is another chance to begin again. Now I know everybody's day won't be easy. Some folks are carrying worries, some are carrying responsibilities, some are carrying things so heavy they didn't even sleep well last night. But this morning right here, this quiet moment on this porch reminds me of something simple. If you woke up today, there is still purpose in your breath. There is still strength in your spirit. There is still something beautiful waiting somewhere in your day. And sometimes the best thing we can do is pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and thank God for another sunrise. So right here on this porch with the birds singing and the traffic rolling by, I'm going to say a little prayer, not a long one, just a real one. God, thank you for this Tuesday morning. Thank you for the breath in our bodies and the chance to see another day. Thank you for the quiet moments before the noise of the world takes over. I ask that you cover every person listening today. Give them strength for whatever they're facing. Give them peace where their mind feels crowded. Give them hope where their heart feels tired. Guide their steps today. Protect their families. Open doors that need to be opened, and close the ones that mean them no good. And most of all, remind us to slow down sometimes and appreciate the simple blessings we often rush past. Amen. Now the traffic is still moving, the birds are still singing, and my lemon tea is getting a little cooler, but my heart feels warm. And if you're listening this morning, I hope you carry this with you today. No matter how busy the world gets, there is always a small moment somewhere waiting for you to sit still. Breathe deep, and remember this day is a gift. So take it in, enjoy it, and if you can, find your own little porch moment today.
